I started private lessons back in October 2015 after completing my O Levels. At first I was nervous to take Pure Mathematics since I did not fair too well in my O level, however with hard work and great assistance from my teacher, Alfred Bonello. it got better as time progressed. I had a good relationship where we could talk about any subject and still focus on what needs to be done to complete the syllabus. There were difficult periods when the workload from sixth form and other commitments were increasing but his methods and teachings helped tackle difficulties in the subject. In May 2017 I maanged to achieve a C in both MATSEC and AQA Sittings for Pure Mathematics at Advanced Level with a lot of hard work and determination. I took up Pure Mathematics Intermediate level and aimed to pass it within just 1 year. Alfred planned my request accordingly and provided me with a great course that allowed me to get a grade A in the Intermediate within only 1 year of studying the said course. He is highly efficient and if you follow everything he tells you to do, you will definitely pass any mathematics topic. Highly recommend anyone looking for a mathematics tutor to go to him. E. After struggling with my intermediate pure mathematics exam I decided I needed some extra help. Within a summer with the great help of tutor Alfred Bonello I was able to not only pass my exam, but ace it. Since then, mathematics has never stopped me from getting anywhere, in fact, the things I learnt during these lessons helped me all the way up to the end of my science bachelors degree. I myself have never had the mathematical instinct and struggled to enjoy my classes at school. I overheard my friends talking about his teachings and how useful they were for them, so I decided to sign myself up for his private lessons to help improve my grades. Despite the online interface, my difficulties were always attended to and none of my problems were ever left unanswered. His method of teaching has suited me a lot, with well-structured PowerPoint presentations, demonstrations, and loads of exercises for practice, I found myself quickly picking up a subject I never thought I'd ever be able to draw from in my everyday life. I also appreciate how organized he has been throughout my time with him, despite schedule changes, we have always managed to get everything done thoroughly and brush up on any immediate difficulties. I admire Mr. Bonello's attitude to teaching, as he drills into us that practice is what is necessary to succeed in Mathematics, which was a comforting change from the usual notion that one must be born with a type of Mathematical aptitude. He provided us with many practice examples, and always had more of them upon request. After having sat my exams, I am happy with the grades I've received and highly recommend Mr. Bonello as a teacher that will guide you through your coursework efficiently and help you study effectively.
